Plot: Asa Nu Maan Watna Da revolves around Asians who return to their motherland after living abroad for most of their lives. Harbajan Maan in Asa Nu Maan Watna Da But this film poses many questions as to whether the migrants are really welcomed back to their own country. And once there, will they be able to get used to the people already living in their motherland. The film also explores their lives as they try to settle and adjust to the cultural values which they once left behind. The story also focuses on how two youngsters, raised from different backgrounds, come together and eventually fall in love. The female heroine in this Punjabi film But will their respective families agree to this union? Is unity possible? Asa Nu… has the answers. This film conveys a message - if a man should leave his homeland, he should never forget his family roots. Filmed in Canada and India, Asa Nu… is a family entertainer with strong emotions which will make you laugh and cry. The film has released in the UK on 14th May 2004.
